Over the last couple of months I have been trying to gather and taste a sample of all Scottish distilleries that have been active since the second world war. Of course, with Malt Mill in the mix, its not going to happen to check them all off, but I should be able to get to 99% of this list before too long. Below you will find a list of the distilleries of which I have not tasted anything yet.
Some of these are fairly regular distilleries of which you can get a dram at almost every whisky bar but I just haven’t gotten around to trying them yet. I will check these off at the next whisky festival I visit, I think. After I’ve tasted something from all distilleries, I will start tasting all brands they’ve released over the same period. That might be a tough one, though…

I think I’ll bring along some extra cash when I come to pick up my bottle. Although, a lot of the list are just not tasted yet, I have samples of Allt-á-Bhainne, Benromach, Blair Athol, Dallas Dhu, Glen Moray, Glenallachie, Glenlossie, Glentauchers, Glenury Royal, Inchgower, Speyburn and Speyside.
Ooooh, nice idea! Time to start compiling, methinks!
