Earlier this week the bottles for the Bottle-Share arrived. Of course I couldn’t wait three seconds before unpacking them, and they’re now proudly displayed on the dining-room table. I don’t think Anneke really considers them a living-room improvement, but oh well.

The delivery from the SMWS was very quick — one day after being notified that everything was on the way, UPS was already at the door, and luckily I was home.
In the meantime, the sample bottles have also been ordered. Unfortunately they turned out to be from a different company than last time, because that other company wasn’t very cooperative: long waiting for a quote, poor responsiveness to my emails, and after a week of back-and-forth still no order confirmation. So I’ve now ordered brown glass medicine bottles from a company in Belgium, with lower shipping costs, whereas the first ones were supposed to come from the Netherlands. Everything was sorted in under an hour.
Of course, that means the payment will take a little longer to process, so it should all arrive by the end of next week. Then I’ll have the weekend free to fill the samples and take them to the post office — although there won’t be too many to send.
Once all the samples have been sent out I’ll start posting tasting notes as well, but until then I don’t want to influence anyone with my ramblings about tastes and aromas!
Ben benieuwd.
